Eight months and counting!!
Well we have been perservering with the LK for 8 months now. Patience is wearing thin. We have a stalemate at Green. Piglet will not poo in the toilet and has started weeing in various places other than the toilet. If I forget and leave a laundry basket out then this becomes a litter tray.
 Other places are my husbands clothes if he doesn't pick them up off the floor. I have been able to train my husband not to do this quicker than the cat!I am getting to the point where I can't bear to clean up any more cat wee and am going to go back to the litter tray for now. I have tried all the tips on your site and am not able to coax Piglet into feeling totally at home using the toilet. Maybe a break will help. One interesting point is, he won't poo in the toilet but if he does a wee he can cover it up with toilet paper really well! All he needs to do now is learn to flush. Maybe in the next round he will! It seems a real shame to me to go back to the litter tray after you've come so far. What do you think will happen if you just go back to amber for a while. Maybe that will help him.

I agree with you it is a shame. However I have just cleaned wee off my couch and that;s the final straw. We are going away in 3 weeks and so Piglet will go to the cattery where he will have to use a tray again.
Put the litter tray out and no sooner had we done this than he went in and did a wee. Seems he hasn't forgotten! I will try again but not right now. Thanks for your comments though
