any ideas on how to get him to "limit" his digging? im on the 1st green of the mulit cat pack. one cat gets it fine and hardly even digs!

Yeah, my cats used to scratch and dig forever before they did their businesses. They will eventually stop (mine stopped like after a few months when there was no more litter.) Make sure your tray is very secured on the LK. My male cat once made the amber tray fell into the toilet and he was sacred and had two accidents afterward! My male cat still scratches on the white rim after he goes--he graduated to the white rim for a couple of months now!

if i shhhoo him off im afraid hell stop useing it, but it keeps my husband and i up at night.

If he scratches afterward, just distract him with treats. That worked out quite well for one of my kitties. The minute he saw me shaking the bag of treats, he would jump off.

I have the same problem.......... I hear the cat scratching for 5 min, and when I go to praise him for using the LK, he sees me, gets distracted, and jumps off. Turns out he hasnt even done his duty yet!!
