Cool Having trouble with green stage

My cat took to red and amber really well. I left her on amber for a while about 6 weeks. She is now on green and will pee fine, but she has a hard time pooping. She will eventually use the LK but only after she cries and hops up and down from the LK a couple of times. Luckily shes not pooping on the floor she seems to know she is supposed to poop in the toilet but seems nervous. She is balancing fine, I just don't know how to make her more comfortable. I tried placing her up there and petting her and giving her treats so its a "happy" place.

Any other suggestions? I don't want her to get frustrated and start going other places?

It's good that you are thinking forward, accidents can really set you back. Make sure your cat is not constipated, give grain free food, wet food if you can afford it and mix some canned pumpkin in the food. (Not the pie mix). Put as much litter as you can in the green tray. Do you have the toilet seat down? Is the seat flat and wide?

    Cool

We had a big accident. She peeed and pooped all over my bed. I was able to get everything clean, but now we are back to a litter box. She really likes to dig when she uses the potty, which I think is why we had trouble with green, not as much litter for her to dig with.

Any recommendations on how to help her feel like she doesn't need to dig as much?

We recommend keeping cats away from the bedroom during training and usually also the first year after training since the bed is just too big of a temptation for them.

When it comes to the digging you just need to give your cat time to adjust to the changes - the litter is your friend during training to lure your cat into using the setup. Removing the litter is not easy and should not be rushed, but it's definetively possible. I had a real digger and we worked it out
