Hello, We will be adopting Koba, an 11 week old Devon Rex on June 30th. I have been visiting him and he is using his litter box. When should I start LK with him?

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

The LK people say that 3 months is the earliest you should start training. I started two of my cats at 13 weeks and one at 11 weeks, I think that age was OK to start with. You will be starting with the red on the floor for a few weeks and then on the toilet for a few weeks so the hole won't be there for a while, and I guess that is what people are afraid of - that they will fall in the hole. Remember to put a step beside the toilet so the cat can get up easily, this is even good for cats that can jump because they want to check out the toilet before going up there. Good luck and keep us posted ;)
