Stated great, now one cat will not use LK & other poos on floor!

I'm at wits end! They both started so well, both using LK, then moved to amber, still great - then the one (older female) stopped using LK & was peeing & pooing on cushions. I washed & sprayed with feliway, shes stopped that, but wont go near the LK, goes outside now. Then the younger one was using the green & now has started to poo on the floor!!! What's going on?? I clean everything with the proper cleaner & spray feliway where I dont want them to go toilet, but I'm considering a catflap- which I really dont want to do. Help!

I think you are moving too fast and your cats don't feel safe on the step they are on. You need to go back to the stage they were last comfortable. Are you using two setups since on cat is on green and one on amber?
