kittens alreay want to poop in basin and bath will LK work?

we have 2 kittens just over 4 months old. They love to poop in a bath tub or basin if they get access to one.

We would like to try the LK but are wondering if the basin habit will be hard to kick... or perhaps if it will be an aid...?

These two also love to climb into toilets if we leave a lid up - they want to drink and play with the water. They have fresh water in bowls and we also let them drink at the sink so they are not short of water.

Does this second habit also present a hurdle to successful KT training?

Well, some cats use the bathtub and the sink if they don't want to use the toilet so I don't know if this will be very helpful with the training...If you want to train them I guess you need to put water in it or block it so they don't go there...
