We constantly field questions about Doogie – what he likes to do, his favorite foods, how he spends his free time, etc. He is so enigmatic and mysterious (ie asleep most of the time) that everybody wants to know more about him, and honestly, we can see why. Unfortunately, due to the sheer volume of mail we cannot begin to answer each one individually, so instead we have gathered some of the most common questions together in this section.

Q: Where did Doogie get his start?
A: G’day, mate! Doogie is a proud Aussie, getting his start as the spokescat for Litter Kwitter, the Original World Famous Cat Toilet Training System.

Q: Does he have any brothers or sisters?
A: Yes, we believe he does, but the family was separated at the age of 3 months. Doogie knows in his heart that he has one or more siblings somewhere out there, and he is actively trying to locate them through the cat reunification program. Or howling loudly at night as it's known to humans.

Q: Is Doogie single?
A: Yes, Doogie is happily single, but he also enjoys having
a beautiful and intriguing female around. In fact he prefers a team of them to workshop new ideas on how to be nice to him.

Q: What are Doogie’s favorite foods?
A: Doogie certainly loves to eat! He particularly enjoys exploring the mysterious foods of the kitchen counter-top. He's never quite sure what they are but loves to sample them all with a lick. But his favorites are the heart-shaped treats mom Jo gave him during training and of course the Aussie staple of vegemite on toast with butter.

Q: What are Doogie’s favorite movies of all time?
A: Oh, there are so many of them! There's all the cat movies - Disney's The Aristocats, Tom (& Jerry), Top Cat and of course Catwoman (& Batman). OK, so these aren't all movies but they do have cats in them therefore they must be good. And then there's the Pink Panther which is all about a cat. And Finding Nemo which is about a fish, but Doogie likes fish too (yum!).

Q: Does Doogie do any charity work?
A: Absolutely! It is one of Doogie’s life passions to support organizations that do good things for others. He lends his celebrity to the Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), and other lesser-known pet rescue organizations throughout the world. Doogie personally provides support to several cat families in need, albeit anonymously because he does not feel the need to seek fame or attention for his efforts.

Q: What are Doogie’s political views?
A: As an intellectual and deep-thinking cat, Doogie of course has well-developed opinions on a variety of issues related to politics and world affairs. For instance, of all the events capturing the news in recent weeks Doogie is absolutely 100% behind the call for more money to be spent on understanding climate change. When Doogie was born it was warm & sunny - and now it's raining. Surely this has to stop? I mean, if he goes out he'll get wet. And that is just not part of the plan!

Q: What is the one thing Doogie has not yet achieved but would like to achieve during his career?
A: Doogie is currently training mom Jo to bring his food to him whever he happens to be rather than this demeaning practice of putting it in a bowl on the floor in the laundry room. I mean, what sort of meal service is this? But this is just a small step in his journey to complete pamperdom - ultimately Doogie would like to be carried around the house on a silk cushion and be showered with praise and affection from wakey-wakey time to nighty-night. Or minimum six times per day in other words. It's good to have goals - it gives Doogie a reason to get up in the morning, and mid-morning, and just after lunch, and later on in the afternoon, and....

Q: What is a “purrfect day” for Doogie?
A: Ahh, just the thought of it gets Doogie feeling all warm and fuzzy. His purrfect day includes sleeping in, napping in the sun, resting in a comfortable spot, and getting a good night’s sleep. He knows that proper rest and nutrition plays an important part in maintaining beautiful skin and fur, so he makes it a priority to take good care of himself every chance he gets. Days like this are what Doogie calls Purrvana!

Q: Who does Doogie most admire?
A: As an intellectual and compassionate cat, Doogie has a great deal of admiration for Martin Luther King, Jr., Ghandi, Bono, Bill and Melinda Gates, Abraham Lincoln, and millions of unsung heroes who work to improve their local community every day. His personal hero, though, is Simba the Lion King who leaves the comfort of home on a voyage of self-discovery but returns to use what he's learned save his community. Doogie likes that sort of thing, it makes him feel good.

Q: Who is Doogie dating at the moment?
A: Shame on you! Do you really expect Doogie to kiss and tell? And anyway, when you're as charismatic as Doogie you really need to ask "who is Doogie dating today" as this situation can change by the hour!

Q: What’s does the next year hold for Doogie?
A: The Litter Kwitter World Tour is well underway, so Doogie will be very busy with that project. In between his Litter Kwitter responsibilities, Doogie will as always do his best to spread his passion for Pounce and find ways to make cats' lives more interested & varied.
